Chikane, a colorful clarinetist from music creator agency muchoo (pronounced “muchu”), has been nominated in the Clarinet Player category of the Musical Instrument Store Awards 2024.
The Musical Instrument Store Grand Prize is an award that recognizes “the instrument recommended this year” and “the work related to the recommended instrument” selected by music store employees nationwide, as well as “the most recommended player who wants to spread the word to the world right now” and “the person who conveyed the joy of musical instruments this year” selected by music store employees and general customers.
Voting by musical instrument store employees nationwide began on Monday, June 17th, and players (groups) representing the five categories were nominated. Public voting began on Friday, August 9th, and five grand prize winners were selected from the 26 nominated players (groups) who are expected to be the center of attention in the future.
