With 2024 as the year of covers, in June they will release the cover album “Kataribe 2,” which features songs released after 1988, the year Hayashibe was born. Then, on October 23, they will release “Kataribe ~Ai no Ecran~,” which features covers of songs released before 1988.
“Kataribe 2” was composed of songs that Hayashibe has listened to, sang, and been influenced by since his amateur days, but this time, “Kataribe ~ Ai no Ecran ~” contains a total of 12 nostalgic songs that you have heard in the distant past. Since this album is all songs that were written before Hayashibe Satoshi was born, “Ai no Ecran” is a piece that fully demonstrates the true value of the singer by focusing on him.
“Back then, it was shining beautifully.
What kind of love do you devour?
Did you fall in love?
Because it didn’t come true
The ecran in my heart remains quietly closed
Satoshi Hayashibe’s crystal clear voice…”
