Celebrating the 10th anniversary of her major debut, Omori Seiko has released the track list for her new full album “THIS IS JAPANESE GIRL,” which will be released on September 18th, her birthday and the anniversary of her debut.
When the release of the album was announced to commemorate the 10th anniversary, it was revealed that the song, titled “Miss Fortune Love,” would be a collaboration with Tsunku♂, one of the people who had a major influence on Seiko Omori’s musical career.
The lyrics were written by Omori, and the arrangement was done by Okubo Kaoru, who has teamed up with Tsunku♂ on a number of projects, including not only Omori’s songs, but also Hello! Project songs.
In addition to the pre-released single “Kureishutsu Dystopia,” which marked the start of the 10th anniversary with a long-awaited collaboration with Naoeda Masahiro (Carnation), who arranged such hit songs as Omori Seiko’s “Zettai Kanojo,” “Midnight Seishun Heterosexual Relations,” “Magic Mirror,” and “Kodomo Janai Mon 17,” there is also the final number “Saikyo♡Kyun,” a blockbuster that concludes the album and is over 7 minutes and 30 seconds long, “Koakumateki ☆ Houken ni Kerteru,” a collaboration with her close friend Noko (Kamisama Kamattechan) that was released in advance at the start of 2024, “Samishii Osanpo,” arranged by Mito (Clammbon), who has produced and worked on many songs not only for Omori Seiko’s solo work but also for the idol group ZOC, which she is a member of, and many songs performed by the Four Heavenly Kings bands, who participated in all the songs on the previous album “Chou Tengoku,” with arrangements by sugarbeans.
It has also been revealed that the album will feature the song “Momoiro Danchi,” written by Mukai Hidenori, which was made possible after Omori made a direct request at a live concert.
In addition, the previously announced theme song “Mugen Rise” for the 2022 drama “In the Next Life, I’ll Do It Right 3” has been re-recorded with vocals and the title has been changed to “Mugen Next Life.”
In addition, at Omori Seiko’s request, it was decided at short notice to add a self-cover of “Zettai Unmei Gokko” from the latest album “SIIX SENCE” released on August 20th by MAPA, an idol group belonging to and produced by TOKYO PINK, which Omori Seiko represents.
The album features a lineup of 14 songs by artists with whom she has a close connection over the past 10 years of her work. A teaser edited by Omori Seiko has been released on TikTok and YouTube, where you can listen to all the songs, so be sure to check it out.

There are so many things in the world I want to change, so I’ve decided to take on the role of the world.
Japanese kawaii from Generation Z onwards, which has continued to lose its real image as what is on screen and what is in the heart have become inverted, is now turning around once more and trying to regain its original sincerity.
Even if you don’t go to the trouble of going to Kabukicho or confessing your love to an uncle, you can still express your heartfelt cry of “being someone with a heart” as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
The reassurance of being needed, the acceptance that it’s okay to be alive, mixed up with the desire for approval and the need to be loved, flow down the river of timeline, and if an ocean were to form at the end, how big would it be, what color would it be, and what kind of space would it be?
That ocean is a mantle in every girl’s head, and in the end, the source and truth of all emotions lie only within ourselves, so there’s no point in getting too hurt by the words and actions of others, and even though I know that, it still hurts, so I strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, may everyone’s special “selves” continue on their own path in their own way. Today too, I sing because I don’t want to pretend that any of the unnecessary melancholy, the annoying jealousy, or the precious loneliness never existed.
Even though this name has just flowed and exploded over and over and is hopelessly broken, I still want to proudly call it and keep singing it. It’s a boring, difficult, meaningless world, but the girl under the cherry tree is crying, wondering how long she must stare at the world, but music embraces her twisted heart and gives her the courage to be alone, so I feel like everything will be okay.

In any case, the goal was to create music that was edgy and yet infinitely free.
I wanted to create music that would allow her to feel a moment of freedom, even though she always seems to be carrying a heavy burden. I aimed to create a fast, thrilling piece, using all of my skills and sensitivities.
As a result, I’m proud to say that I was able to weave fragments of various emotions, such as madness, beauty, ferocity, and transience, into the music. However, this song may not be one that can be considered exemplary among Seiko Omori’s fans. Still, I love her work with her from every angle.
I want to continue challenging myself on this creative journey for as long as possible.

The song “Unpatriotic Hero” with the captain was a miraculously cute pop candy divine song,
I thought, “Let’s make a cute pop candy song with a gothic feel!” And so “Little Devil is Quite Angry” was born!
I’m happy that the Captain and I were able to demonstrate our fearsome duo once again after 10 years, and it’s an honor to have been able to work together!!! Respect!
Child (Holy Caretaker)
First of all, Omori-san, congratulations on your 10th debut anniversary.
I was asked to compose a song by an artist who also composes music.
What kind of songs are you expecting?
This is something I am concerned about as a professional.
“I’d like a golden atmosphere.”
picture?
It doesn’t seem to be a song in a minor key with a very fast tempo,
I wrote this with the intention of creating a sexy, glamorous song.
It remains a mystery as to what kind of lyrics he will write,
Depending on how you arrange the lyrics, it can become a fast-paced song,
It can also be a medium tempo, relaxed song.
With that in mind, I submitted it.
It has a SharanQ feel to it,
Morning Musume. But Summer Night Town,
Do it! Now and songs like that are gold.
This song is the result of my own interpretation of what she might be imagining.
Personally, I think it really hit home.
Her completed song
I read the lyrics and thought, “I see, so that’s how it goes.”
That’s how I feel.
Distortion in color contact lenses and life
I bet he really does think that he wants to call her all the time.
I somehow found this to be convincing.
Tsunku♂
Where is the pink apartment complex?
Saitama. Toyoko. Albuquerque, New Mexico?
No, it’s probably a place made up of memories left over from after everything had come to a brutal end.
Does Omori Seiko live there?
If so, then he lives nearby.
Mukai Hidenori
When I received the long demo of “Saikyo Kyun♡”, I was groaning and analyzing it for over half a year, but the moment I came up with the idea of fusing baroque and funk, a new world opened up for me. Please enjoy Seiko Omori’s dazzling space rock opera, which continues from “Kareshitsu Dystopia”.
Masahiro Naoeda (Carnation)
I have been in charge of many of Mr. Omori’s songs,
I feel like this is the first time I’ve received a song that reflects the sentimentality that lies within Omori-san.
If I sprinkle sentimental sounds that I feel into Omori’s songs, it will be like something from the late 80s.
The result is a nostalgic city pop song reminiscent of a theme song for an anime movie or OVA.
We will add sparkle and color with PCM and FM sound sources to the walks of Mr. Omori and those who love his music.
I hope we can connect the next sunrise.
Mito (Clammbon)
Congratulations to Omori Seiko on the 10th anniversary of her debut.
I am extremely honored to be working with you on this memorable album.
In order to go even further than the previous “Chou Tenku”, Yasuko-san, the Four Heavenly Kings Band (Tomohiro Harigae, Manabu Sengazaki, Hiroomi Shitara, sugarbeans), and engineer Junpei Ohno, we put all our energy, passion, and humor into the sound. It was really fulfilling and fun to work on it.
Dull yet vivid, weak yet strong, painful yet beautiful.
I arranged this song with the hope that it will become part of the background of Seiko Omori’s artistic expression and deliver something to everyone, even if it’s just a little bit.
I hope this will be an album that will be loved for a long time.
