[m-flo]Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their major debut, they release their first new music video in 4 years!

This year marks the 25th anniversary of m-flo’s major debut, and they are attracting attention for their full-scale restart, having thrilled an audience of approximately 20,000 at the recently held SUMMER SONIC 2024.

Their new song “HyperNova”, their first in four years, was released recently and features guest appearances by Maya, a 16-year-old female high school student living overseas prior to her debut, whose voice they discovered on social media. The band actually sent the members a direct message, leading to the collaboration!

This is m-flo’s first Jersey club sound, and features Maya’s vocals. It is a sad yet feel-good song, and the lyrics describing a “stuck in a love life” are currently creating a buzz, especially on streaming services and social media.

Meanwhile, their first Music Video in four years was finally released today!

The theme of this work, which is directed by young video director Daiki Kamoshita, who is working on an m-flo production for the first time, is INVITE THE JOURNEY.

The video shows m-flo and Maya in a futuristic Japanese-style room on a rocket flying in space, heading towards Earth to invite the people of Earth on a journey woven by m-flo.
The futuristic world view, while incorporating Japanese elements, is a must-see!

Expectations are high for new developments planned for the 25th anniversary year!
