Singer-songwriter Dai Hirai is releasing a series of monthly EPs titled “LUCKY BAG” in June, which includes new songs, past songs selected by Dai Hirai himself to be listened to along with the new songs, and “demo” recordings recorded in one take on an iPhone. The fourth EP, “The Best Life Between You and Me,” was released today.
On Hirai Dai’s official website, the cover photo of the EP was released along with the message, “I’ve created a song that I hope you’ll listen to with your loved ones at the end of summer,” and many people have responded with excitement for the release.
The fourth EP includes the new song “The Best Life for Me and You,” as well as older songs and “demo recordings” for you to listen to together. This time, the songs included have been selected based on the theme, “The best songs to listen to with you on the beach.”
The album contains six songs in total, including “Three Two, One” from the album “ON THE ROAD” released in 2017, the surf music-filled “A Place in the Sun” released in 2020, the country-flavored “Wonderful Life” released in 2021, and the Home Rec Demo of “Together” from the mini-album “The Light” released in 2014.
