[Da-iCE]New song “I’ll be your HERO” selected as the theme song for “LOVE Dan – High School Dance Video Festival 2025”!

Da-iCE’s new song “I’ll be your HERO” has been selected as the theme song for Nippon Television’s “DayDay.” WE LOVE DANCE “LOVE Dan – High School Dance Video Festival 2025”.

“LOVE Dance – High School Dance Video Festival 2025” is a video contest to “decide the No. 1 high school dance video with one assigned song.” The “Dance ONE Project,” which once supported high school students during the COVID-19 pandemic, has evolved into “DayDay.” and will be held again this year.

The assigned song, Da-iCE’s new song “I’ll be your HERO,” was written and composed by member Sota Hanamura specifically for this project.
The choreography will be done in collaboration between Akane, one of Japan’s leading choreographers, and Sota Hanamura.


This time, I will be in charge of the song “LOVE Dan 2025.”
This is the first dance vocal group,
The choreography of high school students and Da-iCE
Each piece will be created by a different choreographer.
By being involved in both choreography
I hope to further strengthen the connection between LOVE Dan and Da-iCE.
“I’ll be your HERO” Just like we were,
I’m sure that all of you high school students can become someone’s hero someday.
I would be happy if you could show that determination through your dance.
I hope we can show that as well.


Starting today, Wednesday, August 28th, “DayDay.” has begun recruiting participating teams for “LOVE Dance – High School Dance Video Festival 2025” on the program’s official website, and the assigned song “I’ll be your HERO” and choreography are scheduled to be announced in late September.
In this video contest, Akane will select videos from all participating schools, and several schools will advance to the finals. The competition will be judged on 1) teamwork, 2) thoughts and concepts behind the work, and 3) dance skills. The final videos will be judged only by public voting, where viewers will vote for the dance videos they really want to see. The winning team will be announced on a live broadcast in the spring of 2025.

[Da-iCE Profile]
Da-iCE is a five-member male artist group known for their captivating four-octave twin vocals.
The group consists of five members: vocalists Ohno Yudai and Hanamura Sota, and performers Kudo Taiki, Iwaoka Toru, and Wada Hayate.
“CITRUS,” released in November 2020, became the first Japanese male dance and vocal group to reach 100 million streams, and won the 63rd Japan Record Award in 2021.
Their subsequent release, “Starmine,” became a hot topic as a festival song representative of the Reiwa era that could be enjoyed by people of all ages, and in 2024 they celebrated the 10th anniversary of their major debut.
