Shanks Promotion’s event “Gekidou ~ HOT LIMIT ~” will be held at the National Hall of Pacifico Yokohama on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Despite being the first real event, tickets were sold out with far more applications than expected, and about 5,000 fans gathered, and the venue was in a frenzy from start to finish.
The event was led by a total of 26 people, including members of NO LIMIT and SHANKZ PROMOTION, the organizations of which Fanta is the boss and president from Street Grass, which he participates in during the stream. In addition, various other members also came out from the world of Street Grass as guests and gathered in Yokohama.
The main event began with an opening movie that instantly heated up the packed venue, and then the live performance began. SATO THE ROCK began with their original song “The Hero,” followed by a cover of “Chaosmyth” (ONE OK ROCK). The spectacular performance got the venue excited and got off to a spectacular start.
Next on stage was Aoi Yuu, who is active as a singer under Shanks Promotion. For the first song, he beautifully sang the Vocaloid song “Melt” (Supercell), and for the second song, “Okaeri” (Tani Yuuki), his beautiful voice created a frenzy in the venue, before handing the baton over to Usagi-san. He performed two original songs, “Kokoro” and “Left Under,” and captivated the audience with his brilliant performance.
After Usagi’s performance, the members of NO LIMIT appeared on stage and the large-scale mission “Taking control of Pacifico Yokohama!” began as part of the event.
Each time the members cleared the three missions, their control percentage at Pacifico Yokohama would steadily increase, and not only the members on stage but also the fans in the venue would be able to win prizes.
NO LIMIT members Namba Tette, Shougaku SAY, and Mutsuki Leo took the lead in completing the mission.
Thanks to the hard work of the NO LIMIT members and the audience, all missions were completed without incident, and the interrupted LIVE resumed with Leo’s original songs “Iekei Ramen no Uta” and “Rakuyou”. After that, Kuma no Fudeko appeared and livened up the venue with “I’m the Strongest” (Ado), and also performed a duet with Shanks on “3-nen me no Awaki” (Hiroshi & Kibo)!
As the event was drawing to a close, Ushi-kun sang his original song “Yappa Harami,” bringing the excitement in the venue to a climax.
Kohanaramu, who was announced as the guest artist this time, appeared and performed “Even Myself Can Love You If I’m in Love” (Kohanaramu), with Ushikun, Akachan Cap, and Wakio as chorus members, in a luxurious collaboration with Street Grass. She then sang “ray” (BUMP OF CHICKEN) with Shanks, livening up the venue. The final performers of the event, FATS & SUGAR, appeared. They performed classic songs that they hadn’t even performed in Street Grass, such as “Namida no Sweet Cherry” (Chanels) and “Megumi no Hito” (Rats & Star), and ended the live performance to the sound of cheers that never ceased.
At the end of the event, Shanks, the representative of Shanks Promotion, the organizer of the event, expressed his gratitude to the audience at the venue, and the first real event hosted by Shanks Promotion became a legendary event that will remain in the memories of fans, and the event ended amid loud cheers and much regret from the attendees.
As tickets for this event have sold out, it has been decided that the event will be archived and streamed on Z-aN from 18:00 on Saturday, September 14th to 23:59 on Monday, October 14th, 2024.
