“Starmine” is a song included in the single “Ima” released on August 22, 2022, and was written and composed by member Taiki Kudo. It is an adult summer song reminiscent of night, fireworks, and yukata.

On TikTok, the catchy phrase “Isn’t one enough? I want a second one” sprinkled with numbers has become a hot topic. Various videos have been posted, such as hand gesture videos by popular creators and artists, the “Starmine Challenge” with wotagei, and parent-child “singing covers” and “dancing covers,” with over 40,000 UGC and the total number of views on TikTok has exceeded 600 million.

They also performed “Starmine” at “a-nation 2024” held at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on Sunday, September 1st! Their overwhelming singing ability and performance instantly turned the venue into a festival atmosphere.
Also, at the end of the stage, just when you thought Da-iCE’s performance had ended, they sang “Agarete Gatté Gatten~”, a familiar refrain at their live shows!
Alan Shirahama, a member of GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, appeared as a special guest to sing the refill. The excitement in the venue reached its peak, and the stage ended with great success.

Da-iCE will release their new album “MUSi-aM” (pronounced: museum) on October 2nd, and are currently on tour to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their major debut.

[Da-iCE Profile]
Da-iCE is a five-member male artist group known for their captivating four-octave twin vocals.
The group consists of five members: vocalists Ohno Yudai and Hanamura Sota, and performers Kudo Taiki, Iwaoka Toru, and Wada Hayate.
“CITRUS,” released in November 2020, became the first Japanese male dance and vocal group to reach 100 million streams, and won the 63rd Japan Record Award in 2021.
Their subsequent release, “Starmine,” became a hot topic as a festival song representative of the Reiwa era that could be enjoyed by people of all ages, and in 2024 they celebrated the 10th anniversary of their major debut.
