On the 1st, dancers “P→★”, “KOSEI”, and “MITCHY” from the 13-member boy band XY, produced by YOSHIKI, appeared on “24 Hour TV”, which was broadcast on the Nippon Television network.
Titled “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE YOSHIKI Presents Ultra Borderless LIVE!”, the event brought together Japan’s top dancers, including KAITA, KENZO (DA PUMP), SOTA (BE:FIRST), Kaito Takahashi (King & Prince), TAKAHIRO, and RIEHATA, who had been announced in advance, to perform a dance collaboration to the drum performance of YOSHIKI. Among them, the graceful and acrobatic baton performance of Mitchy, who has won the world championship in baton twirling, blended beautifully with the music, attracting particular attention.
This collaboration produced an impressive performance that transcended the barriers of music and dance, creating a powerful show that perfectly embodied the theme of “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.”
On the same day, they also appeared at the “Song for Noto! 24-Hour TV Charity Live” held at Yokohama Pia Arena MM.
They fully demonstrated the unique features of the amoeba format, such as dance, vocals and band, that are unique to XY, and captivated the audience.
After successfully holding their first solo live show “XY 1ST ONE-MAN SHOW 2024~SINGULARITY~” at the end of June, they announced that they will hold their first tour in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in January next year. XY shines even more as the individual members’ personalities clash and enhance each other. As expectations for their future activities grow, attention is focused on XY’s evolution and progress.
