This year marks the 25th anniversary of Goto Maki’s CD debut, and she has been announcing a number of anniversary projects.
The long-awaited mini album “prAyer” was finally released on September 4th, the first in 13 years, and has been met with endless praise on social media and elsewhere, with comments such as “it’s their best work yet” and “all the songs are masterpieces.”

Furthermore, following the announcement that the previous single[CLAP CLAP]will be the opening theme for Nippon Television’s “Buzz Rhythm 02,” the album’s lead track[prayer]will also be the ending theme for TBS’s “Hiruobi” in September.
The music videos for the digital single[CLAP CLAP]and the album’s lead track[prayer]were released on YouTube ahead of the release, and the image of Goto Maki dancing in the video has prompted rave reviews such as “Gomaki is back in full force” and “I can’t wait for both the live show and the album.” In addition, comments were pouring in from the trailer audio, with people saying they had already heard the CD and listened to it on various streaming services on the day of release, and Goto Maki herself responded to these comments by quickly doing a live stream on SNS on the day of release, to express her gratitude to her fans.
