It’s a little exciting, but sure to be thrilling. From Kyoto, “The World Fools See” presents a fantasy world full of nostalgia.

“Baka ga Mitakata Sekai” is a music unit based in Kyoto, consisting of Taniguchi Michi (vocals) and Furuike Natsuki (piano). Every release is included in numerous playlists. It’s pop and nostalgic, with a hint of dreams and nostalgia. The duo is slowly but surely making inroads among music lovers.
The song “Circular Warp” is full of dreams and nostalgia, with a futuristic feel that is unique to Bakamita, depicting the small partings in everyday life and the hopes of a reunion someday. The simple yet colorful arrangement leaves a strong impression with the words that are blunt yet full of love.
This time, the band will be backed up by Toku Fujii (Llama / pieni norsu) on bass and senoo ricky (Yuta Orisaka / Seiichi Yamamoto / YeYe…) on drums. Please give it a listen in the season of nostalgia.

Comment from the artist
Nacchan, the pianist, has embarked on a life path that will see her working overseas for a while.
For now, it is planned to last about a year, but since it is unclear what will happen, it is still largely undecided.

With this in mind, we began working towards releasing a new song.

The structure and melody of this song was completed quickly, but the lyrics took a considerable amount of time.

One night, I was looking back through the notes on my iPhone when I noticed an entry that simply said “Circular Warp.”
I don’t know when or what I was thinking when I wrote it, but I thought it was cute that he took the trouble to visually present the warp as a “circle,” so I made it the theme of the lyrics.

From there, I was able to write smoothly and create a song about someone living in a world with a “hole” they can warp through.
Being able to get to your destination in an instant is a time-saving and lucky thing, and very convenient. I’m jealous.

Now that I think about it, the lyrics might have also expressed my feelings of “I can’t play with Nacchan right away! I’m so lonely!!”

To Natsuki
Anyway, good luck with your life abroad. I’ll come visit you by plane…
