Chiaki Ito, a former member of the mixed-gender performance group AAA and a talent, has announced that the new product “Fem Cheers Amazake” from her herbal tea brand “Fem Cheers Tea” has been released in advance at 10 Loft stores.
The “Fem Cheer Tea” brand was launched in spring 2023 together with Kobe’s “Shinshinbicha” with Ito’s desire to “support women’s beauty and health.”
To date, they have developed 12 types of herbal tea blends that women will enjoy, and are expanding their sales channels to drugstores and other locations.
It continues to be a hit, with repeat customers saying it’s “delicious and friendly to women.”
The newly announced “Fem Cheers Amazake” is a blend of powdered sake lees developed by Ozeki, a company famous for its sake, and chasteberry, an herb known to be good for women, and has a delicious flavor of fruits and black bean kinako.
It comes in two very easy-to-drink varieties: Apple Beauty Amazake Tea and Black Sesame Warm Beauty Amazake Tea.
It comes in a powdered stick form that is easy to carry around and drink anytime, and you can easily enjoy delicious amazake by simply dissolving it in lukewarm water.
Chiaki Ito, who won the Japan Femtech Summit Award 2024 in February of this year and has become well known as an expert on women’s health and beauty, says that when it comes to Fem Cheers Amazake, she focused most on making it easy to drink so that even those who are new to amazake will find it delicious.
“Amazake is also known as a ‘drinkable IV drip’ and is said to be good for recovering from fatigue and activating the intestines, so I would definitely recommend trying it at this time of year when you’re still feeling tired from the summer. It also contains herbs that are great for women, so I recommend it when you want to lift your spirits. With about 15 kcal per cup, it’s packed with all the ‘happiness’ that women will want.
