Mameshiba no Taigun, which was born in 2019 from the “MONSTER IDOL” project on the TBS variety show “Wednesday Downtown,” and Tokyo Somewhere, which was born from “MONSTER LOVE” in 2022, have merged to become the next MONSETRIDOL, forming Mameshiba no Taigun Tokyo Somewhere aka MONSTERIDOL, a four-member idol group belonging to WACK, consisting of Aika the Spy, Nao of Nao, Leona Empire, and Momochi N’Gale.
The final performance of their first nationwide tour since the merger, “MONSTER VENOM TOUR,” began on May 26th at Shin-Sakae Shangri-La (Aichi), and was held at Kanda Myojin Hall.
The band appeared to the sound of festival music created for the final performance, and the Tamers (the collective name for fans) who had packed the venue erupted in cheers. The concert started with Ikkiichi Yu Night, which was first performed at the Utsunomiya concert, and the venue was filled with live staples such as FLASH and Malamala. In the middle of the concert, JOSE from TOTALFAT, who provided Sing Along Time!, and Yuka Sakai, who usually handles the group’s voice training, appeared and performed ‘Sweet Home’ and ‘MUST GO’ acoustically. The Tamers were delighted with the performance, which was different from their usual lineup.
In between the setting changes, JOSE performed Sing Along Time! with his guitar and vocals, and TOTALFAT himself had many twists and turns, including member changes, and thought about quitting many times, but he continued with the band and is now really enjoying it. So he said that he wants everyone in Mon Eye to do their best and that he wants all the fans to support him, and the venue was filled with emotion, making it a special performance worthy of a final.
The members of Mon Eye appeared on stage again in new monster-like costumes and performed their first single, “Wonderland”. In the following MC, they announced that they would release their first album, “Toppa”, on December 25th, the day Mameshiba no Taigun was formed. The long-awaited release for the tamers also increased the excitement in the venue. The main part of the show ended with “HiGH HOPES” and Sing Along Time!, which were performed on the first day of this tour.
During the encore, they have been performing one new song at each show of this tour, and at the final show, they debuted a new song called “Walk,” which seemed to be connected to MUST GO, which is becoming the group’s anthem. There was even a moment when Aika the Spy was so moved that her voice became teary, and some of the tamers were moved to tears by the performance. They concluded the tour with the final encore song, “Restart.”

“MONSTER NiGHT ~NiGHTMARE NiGHT~” will be held in Shibuya on October 30th
It was also announced that the event will be held at Studio Freedom.
They have completed their tour, released a new album, and are still very active, so we can’t take our eyes off them.
