The selected members for the 4th single “The Blue Sky I Wanted to See” (also known as “BokuAo”), which will be released on Wednesday, November 13th, were announced on YouTube today.
Starting with the 2nd SINGLE, a selection system has been adopted, with the selected members of the 23 members acting as the Blue Sky Group and the remaining members acting as the Cloud Group.
The selected members for the 4th SINGLE are:

・Yua Kudo
・Nana Shiogama
・Miuna Sunaga
・Aya Nishimori
・Suzuki Hayasaki
・Mana Mochinaga
・Toa Yagi
・Karen Yanagihori
・Yoshimoto Kokona The 11 members have been selected.
For this production, Sunaga and Mochinaga are the two who have been selected for the first time.
I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of performance the new 11 members of the Aozora group will put on.

The fourth single will include five new songs, including the theme song “Sorairo no Mizushibuki” for the animated film “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi,” which will be released nationwide on Friday, October 25th, and the insert song “My Friends.” Immediately after the announcement at the live show the other day, the song has been trending on social media.

[The blue sky I wanted to see]
The 23-member group Bokutai no Aozora (commonly known as Bokuao) debuted on August 30, 2023 as the official rival of Nogizaka46 with the song “Aozora ni wo Kangaeru” (Thinking About Aozora). At the end of 2023, they won the Newcomer Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards, and their second single “Sotsugyo Made” released on January 31, 2024 was the first to introduce a selection system, which became a hot topic. They will release their third single “Spare no Nai Koi” on August 7. This idol group is on a roll, having been announced as the main theme song and insert song for the animated film “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi” which will be released nationwide on October 25.
