[NAQT VANE]Teams up with director Mizuno Itaru of the film “He Disappeared” in the music video for her new song “FALLOUT” as she takes on her first drama role!

NAQT VANE is a team project led by Hiroyuki Sawano. On September 6th, they released their first new song “FALLOUT” since the addition of new member Yunoa. The song has been gaining attention for its new style with twin vocals and a new rap part, and the long-awaited music video for the song was released today, September 20th (Friday) at 8:00 PM.

NAQT VANE is a team project launched under the concept of “giving a tailwind to challengers,” and each participating member is also walking their own path as a challenger. The keyword is “overlap of diverse talents,” and it is noteworthy that Classic 6, a creative group active not only in music but also in the arts, is participating. They contribute to NAQT VANE’s musical activities from a wide range of fields, including video and graphics.
The music video for this song, “FALLOUT,” was a collaboration with director Itaru Mizuno of the movie “He Disappeared.” Director Mizuno directed the drama part, while Classic 6 directed the performance part. The result is a work that truly embodies the “intersection of diverse talents.”

This is NAQT VANE’s first attempt at a drama-style music video, and it is also Director Mizuno’s first experience shooting a music video. Along with the song’s theme of “Ideal Me” and “New Me,” the music video’s theme is “New Arrival.” After the addition of new member Yunoa, the special composition combines a cool performance with a comical drama part, depicting a new side of NAQT VANE.

The music video begins with a scene reminiscent of the opening of the movie “That Person Disappeared,” and is structured to link the story of Yunoa joining NAQT VANE with the gimmicks and worldview of the movie. In particular, in the drama part, lines are woven into the subtitles, but it is not clear what they are actually saying, and attention is also drawn to the movement of their mouths.

At the end, the hints behind the theme of “a new me” are resolved, making the MV a work that leaves a strong impression on the viewer. The gimmicks and ending are said to be more enjoyable if you watch the movie “He Disappeared”, so it seems like it would be fun to go back and watch the music video again after watching the movie.
