Actress Akari Takaishi has been appointed “Miyazaki Ambassador” to widely promote the attractions of her hometown, Miyazaki.
On the 20th, he visited the Miyazaki Prefectural Government Office and was presented with a letter of appointment as Miyazaki Ambassador by Miyazaki Governor Toshitsugu Kono.
Takaishi is a notable actor who has appeared in films and dramas such as “My Happy Marriage” and the “Crashing JK and the Wasted Teacher” series. Last year, she won the Best New Actress Award at the 15th TAMA Movie Awards.
She is currently appearing in the film “Rookie Reporter Trocco: If I Don’t Do It, Who Will?” and her first foray into voice acting in the popular production “Your Color,” and is receiving rave reviews for her exceptional acting ability and looks.
When Takaishi visited the Miyazaki Prefectural Government Office today, he was handed a letter of appointment as “Miyazaki Ambassador” by Miyazaki Governor Kono.

Also, starting today, advance screenings of the film “Baby Warukyure Nice Days,” which was filmed in Miyazaki and co-stars Takaishi, will begin in Miyazaki.
