ONE OR EIGHT, a new and talented Japanese boy group that debuted on August 16th this year, has been confirmed to appear at the festival-style event “Hypefest Hong Kong 2024” hosted by “Hypebeast.”
ONE OR EIGHT is a boy group that just made their global debut on August 16, 2024 with “Don’t Tell Nobody.”
As soon as they released their debut song, it topped Billboard JAPAN’s “Heatseekers Songs” (released on August 28th), and was also selected for Spotify’s most popular official playlist, “New Music Friday” (updated on August 16th) in 16 countries and regions including the United States. This makes them the first Japanese boy group to have multiple debut songs included in playlists, and they are an artist that is attracting attention from all over the world.
Hypefest Hong Kong 2024, in which ONE OR EIGHT will be performing, is an experiential festival combining music, fashion, and culture, organized by Hypebeast, a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle.
Following successful events in Brooklyn, Qinhuangdao and Hangzhou, this year the event will take place at Hong Kong’s Central Harbourfront Event Space, Central.
The previous performance attracted over 30,000 people and was a notable event that excited young people to the point that advance tickets sold out within two hours.
In addition to the diverse artists who have already been announced to appear, including JUSTICE, Peggy Gou, DEAN, d4vd, and MILLI, the lineup for ONE OR EIGHT has now been announced.
This year, the festival will be held for two days on November 9th and 10th, with ONE OR EIGHT performing live on the 9th. This will be ONE OR EIGHT’s first appearance at a music festival in the Chinese-speaking world, and it will also be the first time that a boy group will appear at “Hypefest.”
