The four-member band “Miryome” from Nagasaki is gradually gaining attention for their delicate yet powerful singing voices, weaving together the timeless and the present with lyrics that exude humor and literary quality.
Since 2024, she has been releasing new songs energetically and increasing her live attendance, making her the charming woman of today. Today, she released the song “Ikiro Meros”, which is a condensed version of her essence.
At first listen, the lyrics of this song begin with “Live, Melos, it’s all about living,” and the polar opposite of “Run, Melos” unfolds. The delicate vocals weave an atmosphere that seems to capture the current state of Generation Z, such as escaping and brushing off adversity, but in reality, it leaves an aftertaste of being tired of the truth of life. It is a heart-shaking song that stands out from the usual cheering songs, as it sings honestly about the singer’s reality.
With each release, their poetic precision increases, and their guitar sound, colored with the fun and humor that only music can provide, penetrates their worldview with certainty. Their live performance entitled “Charming Woman Theatre” is also worth checking out.
■Tsuke (Vo/Gt) Release Comment
The idea was inspired by the short story “Run Meros” by novelist Osamu Dazai.
The story depicts a world with a different conclusion from the original: “His best friend is taken hostage, he promises to meet again, but becomes scared and upset, and runs away. But it’s his only way to survive.”
There are a lot of harsh realities in the world, but the lyrics also express the strong desire to continue living with the spirit of “life is what matters.”
It may not be beautiful, but I think in a way it’s a hymn to life that gets to the essence of humanity.

In April 2022, the band began activities in Nagasaki, centered around Tsuke (Vo/Gt).
In May 2023, the band was restructured to its current lineup of Tsuke, Emergency Exit Seiya (Gt), Kazuki (Ba/Cho), and Hamasaki Homare (Dr), and is currently active mainly in Kyushu.
Armed with catchy, melodic and lyrical lyrics, she strives to be an attractive musician every day, and her motto is to have people enjoy her music at her live shows titled “Charming Woman Theater.”
The second EP, “When We Get to Mars,” will be released digitally in January 2024, and the fourth single, “Ning Ding,” will be released in July.
