[DJ KOO]”Even if you can’t see it now, you will see it someday” “avex class” was held for the first time in Toyama Prefecture as a recovery support activity for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.

DJ KOO (TRF) took the stage as a lecturer at the “avex class” held at Shihoku Junior High School in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture on Friday, September 27th, and talked about his career to about 200 1st and 3rd grade students. Educational classes were held.

“Avex Class” is a career education program run by Avex Inc. as part of its sustainability activities. Artists, talents, and creators visit educational institutions across the country to convey to children the importance of “the ability to believe in talent and dreams” through their own experiences.

This class was held with the aim of supporting recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, with students who have dreams at the school saying, “Many students do not see hope for the future” and “I want them to teach me the importance of meeting and connecting with people.” It was realized to convey the importance of this and the message.

DJ KOO, who served as an instructor, looked back on the rugby club he belonged to during his high school days, saying, “I didn’t start because I liked it at first,” but added, “As I got into it, my heart became warmer, and I realized that… I was addicted to it. Because I was able to do my best at that time, even when I hit a wall later in life, I was able to keep going. Even if you don’t think you can see the future, you will see it in a few years.” He went on to explain why he wanted to become a DJ, which is his current profession, saying, “I originally wanted to become a musician with a guitar, but I gave up.From there, I became fascinated by the way DJs entertained people through their music at discos.” I felt that way and started to want to become a DJ.”

In the second half, he talks about his first appearance on a variety show, saying, “I was suddenly assigned the opening role on a live broadcast, and I resisted it.However, without thinking that I couldn’t do it, I accepted it, and as a result, with the phrase “EZ DO DANCE!” “By accepting things that seem difficult, new things will be born,” he said, sending a powerful message about how to overcome difficulties when faced with them. During the Q&A session, a student who is active in baseball asked, “How can I love what I love even more?” to which he responded, “Winning is good, but losing and completing tasks is also cool.” I believe that the people around me are supporting me, so listening to their voices helps me improve myself and makes me love baseball even more.It is important to cherish the connections with the people around you who support you. ” and gave advice on how to pursue the things you love and how to interact with people.

At the end of the class, a special DJ performance was performed. The students were shy at first, but after DJ KOO said, “Everyone is the star! Let’s get excited, everyone at Shooting North Junior High School!”, they gradually became more excited. Towards the end, the voltage in the venue reached its peak, and at the end, a large number of students could be seen taking the stage and enjoying music near DJ KOO.

After the DJ performance, he concluded the class with the message, “You may hit a wall, but just smile, put your health first, and have fun!”

I was impressed by the way the students listened intently to the lessons, and the happy and happy expressions on their faces when they took commemorative photos and when they left the school.
