Itsuki Miyaji of Gekidan 4 Dollars 50 Cents will appear on Yomiuri TV’s drama DiVE+ (Plus) every Monday late night, starting on November 4, 2024 (Monday). It has been decided that he will be appearing in “In progress~”.

The original work is a popular BL work of the same name, which is a Korean electronic comic with over 6.43 million views worldwide.

This is a pure love story between two high school boys who are polar opposites: Hitoshi Minase (Sumimasa Motoshima), an honor student who is indifferent to others, and Haruki Hirukawa (Kenshin Uemura), an unconventional troublemaker in his class.

Miyaji joined the “Gekidan 4 Dollars 50 Cents” produced by Yasushi Akimoto in December 2021 as a second-generation member. Appeared in various stages and dramas. This year, he also appeared in the TV Asahi drama “Mars -Zero no Kakumei-”, which attracted a lot of attention.

This time, Miyaji will play Minase’s friend George Nemoto. Regarding his role, Miyaji commented, “He is a free-spirited and lovey-dovey boy.There are some similarities with myself, so I hope I can have fun playing the role while remembering my school days.”

This is Itsuki Miyaji who plays Nemoto George! Nemoto is Minase’s friend and is a free-spirited and lovey-dovey boy. There are some parts that are a little similar to myself, so I hope I can have fun playing the role while remembering my school days. Please enjoy watching!

[Synopsis]

Hitoshi Minase (Sumimasa Motoshima), an honor student who is indifferent to others, has been living his student life trying not to get involved with Haruki Hirukawa (Kenshin Uemura), a troublemaker in his class. However, one day, Minase happened to see Hirukawa outside the school, covered in scars from being beaten by his father. Minase, who unexpectedly learns the secret, tries to distance himself from him so that he doesn’t get involved any further, but he can’t get the image of Hirukawa, who was a different person from when he was at school, stuck in his mind… The two of them get to know a side of each other that they couldn’t see at school, and gradually feelings that they have never felt before begin to emerge…
