SKY-HI announces a collaboration with MIKOLAS, the Czech Republic’s most streamed national pop artist. “LALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)” will be released on October 25th (Friday).
Mikolas is a 29-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer born in Prague, Czech Republic.
He is currently the most streamed artist in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and was included in Forbes magazine’s “30 People Under 30 Who Are Changing the World.”
The hit single “Delilah” alone reached the top 20 on charts in over 20 countries and holds several world records.
In 2018, she participated in the Eurovision Song Contest (a music contest in which 85 European broadcasting stations participate that has been a success since 1956 and has been the catalyst for global stars such as ABBA and Celine Dion) and came in 6th place. Achieve a prize.
In 2022, two and a half years after its release, “LALALALALALALALALA”, which was released in 2020, suddenly went viral as a Japanese translation video posted on YouTube by a general Japanese listener, and ranked 13th on Spotify Japan’s Viral chart. After the song became a hit in Japan, Mikolas decided to create a new version of the song with Japanese language and titled it “LALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)” in honor of his Japanese fans. This collaboration was made possible by asking SKY-HI, with whom they had a close friendship after co-starring on a radio program, to write the lyrics in Japanese and sing the rap part.
“LALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)”, which will be released by SKY-HI and MIKOLAS, has been selected as an interfm power play “Hotpicks” and can be heard on interfm from Wednesday, October 16th.
