It has been announced that singer-songwriter Dai Hirai will appear at the large-scale music festival “Strawberry Music Festival 2024” to be held in Zhuhai, China on May 18th.
The festival was first held in 2009, and since then has been held 145 times in 47 cities in China, 15 to 20 times each year, with over 6,100 artists performing and attracting over 7.5 million people. It is a super large music festival (as of March this year). It will be held for two days on May 18th and 19th at the Zhuhai venue, and Dai Hirai will appear on the LOVE STAGE from 18:40 on the 18th. This will be Dai Hirai’s first time performing at a festival in China.
Prior to their appearance at “Strawberry Music Festival 2024”, it has been decided that they will release a digital EP “Slow & Easy English Ver.” on May 17th (Friday). In addition to re-recording the popular songs “Slow & Easy”, “Stand by me, Stand by you.”, and “tonight” with English lyrics, previously released songs with English lyrics are also included, and Donovan Frankenreiter collaborated with Donovan Frankenreiter. The EP contains eight songs, including cover songs such as the recorded song “It don’t matter with Donavon Frankenreiter” and Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are.”
Dai Hirai has also been scheduled to perform at numerous summer festivals in Japan, starting with his appearance at “METROPOLITAN ROCK FESTIVAL 2024” held in Osaka today, so keep an eye on Dai Hirai this summer as well.
