AWA, a subscription-based music streaming service operated by AWA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Akio Togashi), will hold a live concert of V artists in May 2024. In response to the positive response to the previous event, the second live concert will be held at Akihabara Entas on Saturday, October 19th. In addition, entries have also started for an event where anyone can participate in the right to perform.
With the boom in live audio streaming, AWA is taking advantage of the strengths of Avex and CyberAgent to provide streamers with more opportunities to perform and to help them do better. In May of this year, AWA held its first live performance by a V-artist. This time, the name was changed to “AWA UPSTREAM,” aiming to create a culture in which the mutual feelings and enthusiasm of artists and fans swirl and spread all over the world. The artist already selected to perform is Urara Nanami, who is active as a “parallel singer who travels between real and virtual reality.” Additional artists are scheduled to be announced in the future. Ticket lottery applications will begin at 12:00 on Thursday, August 1st.
In addition, just like last time, we will be holding a competition for the right to perform at a real live show, which anyone can participate in.
