The music unit started when Tsumugishachi, who was spinning stories every day, met the sound creator Maon Kushita. The unit name “Kimi no ne” means “I want to grow the roots of music together with you.”
She will debut with MAGES. in the spring of 2023 with “Aimai Hello”. As Kuge Maon continues her musical activities by creating songs based on the stories written by Tsumugishachi, the participation of up-and-coming female violinist Otani Mai is decided and the axis of the sound is also decided. Kuge Maon creates songs using various techniques based on the diverse stories overflowing from Tsumugishachi, and Otani Mai’s violin flows freely and intertwines with Tsumugishachi’s lovely and emotional vocals. On Kimi no Ne’s website, the story of Tsumugishachi, which is the starting point of the song production, is being published as a fantasy story. After being selected as “AWA’s Artist to Watch in 2024”, she released “Laid Back Journey” (the opening theme song for the anime, “Laid Back Camp SEASON 3”) in April. ■ Tsumugishachi: Storyteller/Vocal
She is also highly regarded as a lyricist and vocalist, and has written lyrics for Shiori Tamai, Natumi., Marina Horiuchi, Memento Mori, and others. As a vocalist, she also sang the ending theme “I’m” for the anime “Seven Demonic Swords Rule” and the in-game song “Blue Laser” for “Ultra Heroes EXPO 2023”. Her latest work is “Now On Air” by Miku Ito (lyrics: opening theme for the anime “Seiyuu Radio no Ura Omote”).

■Mai Otani: Violin and fiddle
Born in 2000. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts after graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts. During his time at university, he participated in numerous recordings.
He also supports NAOTO, TK from Ling Tosite Sigure, Nornis, HACHI, and others on stage. He is also a member of the Celtic instrumental band “Dé Domhnaigh”. In “Dé Domhnaigh”, he collaborates with Golden Bomber’s “Yeah! Meccha Stress” and also supports Suzuki Konomi on stage. Since 2024, he has also been running his own solo project “Mokugeki”.
