■ Asako Toki
As the lead vocalist of the band Cymbals, she made her indie debut in 1997 and her major label debut in 1999. After the band broke up in 2004, she launched her solo career by releasing the jazz cover album “STANDARDS – Asako Toki Sings Jazz” with her father, jazz saxophonist Hidefumi Toki, as co-producer. This year marks the 20th anniversary of her solo debut.
