■God does not roll dice
More or less, the sense of stagnation and suffering that everyone living in this chaotic era will have.
The music of “God Doesn’t Roll the Dice” combines both an explosion that breaks the situation with just one hit, and a purifying effect that cues the heart of a broken, cracked listener and wraps himself in warmth.
It was formed in Fukuoka in 2015. He has hone his skills at live houses all over the country and gradually gained support, and in July 2020, he entered the major scene in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been in charge of theme songs for numerous entertainment works, showing off his talent in catchy songwriting, and at the same time deepens the edgy and inviolable musical field that is typical of a rock band.
The dynamism that comes from the combination of both stillness and movement, light and darkness, light and darkness – has been a charm for a while, but in recent years the contrast has become even more prominent, and inevitably the passion they experience at their live shows has only increased.
The band’s name, “God Rolls the Dice,” is a phrase from Albert Einstein, the father of modern physics. This criticized the ambiguity of quantum mechanics, which states that observed phenomena can sometimes be governed by chance or probability, and Einstein used “God” as his metaphor, from the standpoint that “there is always a law of physics and a mathematical formula that should be determined.” The four members of “God Don’t Roll the Dice” follow the absolute “law” they set themselves: “continue to produce unconventional and unconventional sounds that no one can make.” This was named with the intention of carving out the path that oneself controls.
As promised, instead of lamenting the odd fate of the shift to the major scene and the timing of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been doing positive and tough activities. One of the signs of this belief is that they have believed in the day when cheers and singalong resonate at the live venue again, and have deliberately created a number of songs that are intended to be called and responded.
The final of Zepp Tour 2023 “Airship that Wishes Melting the Snow” has finally been released.
After overcoming his difficulties and fulfilling his long-awaited desire, “God Does Not Roll the Dies,” flies to the next step.
