ShowMinorSavage’s new song “Ocean” will be released on Wednesday, July 10th!

The unit “ShowMinorSavage”, consisting of BMSG members Aile The Shota, MANATO (BE:FIRST), and SOTA (BE:FIRST), has announced that they will release the digital single “Ocean” on Wednesday, July 10th.

In addition, ShowMinorSavage appeared on J-WAVE (81.3 FM)’s “Amazon Music MILLION BILLION” program, hosted by BE:FIRST, which aired today, and performed the song for the first time on the radio.

The song was produced in collaboration with MONJOE, who has worked on a wide range of artists, including Number_i, Mukai Taichi, FIVE NEW OLD, Ame no Parade, and AAAMYYY.

The chilling sound gives off a pleasant sea breeze, while the lyrics describe the “ordinary” things you do with a loved one, making this a groovy song unique to ShowMinorSavage.

The artwork was created by graphic designer FJD Jiro Fujita, who has worked on many works for HYDEOUT PRODUCTIONS, including Nujabes.

The artwork, which is unique to Fujita and features vivid colors, further enhances the song, so it is definitely worth checking out.

Starting today, a campaign has started where anyone who pre-adds/pre-saves in advance on Apple Music or Spotify will receive a digital photo of “ShowMinorSavage,” so be sure to check it out.

The three members, Aile The Shota, MANATO (BE:FIRST), and SOTA (BE:FIRST), met at “THE FIRST”, the audition that produced BE:FIRST, and share common musical roots in black music and urban music. They formed the creative team “ShowMinorSavage”.

This comes from the intention to “show Savage a music style that is still minor in Japan in the major scene.”

On February 22, 2023, they released their first EP, “ShowMinorSavage,” and began their activities.
