CHAI Releases Music Video for “MATCHA” from Their Latest Album “CHAI” Released Last September

CHAI, known for their concept of “NEO kawaii” and their global activities, has just announced the end of their band activities following their final performance in Tokyo on March 12th, concluding the “We The CHAI Tour!” Japan tour that kicks off in Sapporo on January 28th (Sunday). “MATCHA” is the last music video as CHAI. This track, the opening number of their album “CHAI”, playfully likens self-love and introspection to the act of preparing matcha. The song is filled with R&B and hip-hop influences, and features a catchy chorus that sticks with you.

The final MV for CHAI was directed by Tasuku Matsunaga, known for his work with artists like aiko, Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, and BIEN.
