A playful tune featuring the quintessential Frederic world, “PEEK A BOO” is an eccentric number sprinkled with words that tickle your fancy. This track showcases a different facet of Frederic’s versatility, distinct from their songs like “Sparkle Dancer” and “Peppermint Gum.” The jacket photo has also been released, with Kouji Mihara (responsible for all lyrics, composition/B) at the helm.

Additionally, a one-hour live video from the Osaka performance of the “FREDERHYTHM TOUR 2023-2024 ‘WELL 噛 ONE'” tour, which concluded at Zepp Sapporo in Hokkaido, is now available on their official YouTube channel.

Furthermore, Frederic has announced the commencement of their national tours for the Japanese market starting June 2024. These include the fan club exclusive “Home Party Tour 2024” and the joint tour “UMIMOYASU 2024.” Currently, the fan club “FreHouse+” is accepting priority ticket applications for members until January 28th.

Artist Profile: FREDERIC

“Formed in June 2009, the band consists of twin brothers Kenji Mihara (Vo, G) and Kouji Mihara (B, Vo), along with Ryuji Akagashira (G) and Takeru Takahashi (Dr).

The band’s name, “”Frederic,”” is inspired by the mouse Frederic from Leo Lionni’s picture book of the same name. It embodies their wish to “”fill people’s hearts with music, just as Frederic filled hearts with words when the food ran out during hibernation.””

Frederic is known for their unique sound, deriving from a wide range of musical elements, and their reputation as a live band is bolstered by their unique live arrangements and diverse performances.

In 2012, they won a special award at the “”MASH FIGHT!”” audition hosted by MASH A&R. They made their major debut in September 2014 with the mini-album “”oddloop.”” Since then, they have consistently released music and held their first solo arena show in April 2018 at the Kobe World Memorial Hall. In February 2020, they performed at the Kanagawa Yokohama Arena, and in February 2021, they successfully held their first concert at the Nippon Budokan. Their 3rd album “”Frederhythm 3″” was released in March 2022. On June 29th, they held their largest-ever solo live show, “”FREDERHYTHM ARENA 2022,”” at the Tokyo National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium.
