Fuma no KTR Drops New EP “Assassin House” on December 13th – Japan Time, Folks!

Fuma no KTR, renowned in the MC battle scene and also known for his versatile talents, just released his latest EP “Assassin House” on December 13th. Besides his popularity in the rap battle scene, he’s also known for his work in TV anime, like composing and producing the ending theme ‘RVR～Rising Voltekkers Rap～’ for “Pokémon”.

The new EP “Assassin House” was created in collaboration with beatmaker WAZGOGG, a partner known for producing viral hits and showcasing outstanding chemistry.

The EP features the pre-released single “Devil’s March”, which gained attention for its music video featuring Shichitouzewa’s Goto and TikToker Nishikyun, and also includes tracks like “Buzzer Beats” featuring rapper bunTes, a hard-hitting upper tune with trance sounds, and “Lonely Heart”, a song with message-laden lyrics set to a chord-rich synth beat. It’s a diverse collection of tracks that Fuma no KTR is proud to present.

Artist Profile: Fuma no KTR

Born in 2000, a member of the ’00 generation, from Neyagawa, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Currently based in West Tokyo and actively engaged in his music career.

Fuma no KTR first made waves nationally with his beyond-his-years rap skills and unique approach to beats when he secured the runner-up position in the “”BAZOOKA!!! 15th High School RAP Championship”” aired on the Japanese program “”BS SKY PerfecTV!””.

Following that, in 2020, he was selected as the final boss monster in “”High School Dungeon””, a high school version of the freestyle rap battle show on AbemaTV, where he faced off against various rap battle challengers.

In 2021, he continued his winning streak by clinching victories in major MC battle events like “”Shin-ADRENARIN – Fukuoka no Ran”” and “”Z to A””.

On the music production front, Fuma no KTR has also made a significant impact. His 2019 release, “”American Baby””, was a smash hit, with the music video surpassing 700,000 views on YouTube. Subsequently, he released two EPs: “”airplane NINJA”” in 2020 and “”Assassin Creed”” in 2021, both of which have been successfully included in various playlists.

Artist Profile: WAZGOGG

Born in 1994, from Akita Prefecture, Japan. Self-taught in turntablism, WAZGOGG conquered the Tohoku regional qualifiers of the DMC DJ Championship two years in a row, in 2017 and 2018, using his self-acquired skills.

As a track maker under the name WAZGOGG, he released his first album in August 2018.

WAZGOGG has participated in large-scale events like Zepp DiverCity and Kawasaki CLUB CITTA, known for the Senkoku MC Battle, where he showcased his talents as a break DJ using original beats, creating numerous standout moments.

In recent years, he has also expanded his repertoire to include providing music for smartphone apps and sound design, demonstrating his wide range of activities and skills in the music industry.
