HITORIE Marks Their 10th Debut Anniversary with the Release of “Senseless Wonder 10 Years Later”

“Senseless Wonder 10 Years Later” is a digital single that features two tracks: “Senseless Wonder [ReREC]”, a re-recording of their major debut single “Senseless Wonder” originally released on January 22, 2014, now performed by the current three-member lineup with Shinoda on vocals, and “Senseless Wonder [Original Rec 2024 Mix]”, a new mix and mastering of the original 2014 release specifically for this project.

The single also unveils a new jacket design, evolving the original “Senseless Wonder” artwork from 2014, also designed by Yuta Ichinose. The updated artwork reflects the band’s 10-year journey, showcasing an evolution of the original motif.

In celebration of their 10th anniversary, HITORIE has announced the <10 NEN SAI> project, revealing 10 special topics. The first of these was the ongoing solo acoustic tour “Shinotetsu”, covering all 47 prefectures by vocalist and guitarist Shinoda. Following this, the second announcement is the release of “Senseless Wonder 10 Years Later”. The third is the two-day event “HITORI-ESCAPE 2024 10 NEN SAI” at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo on January 23 and 24. The fourth is the “HITORI-ESCAPE TOUR 2024 10 NEN SAI”, a tour spanning 18 performances starting in April.

The remaining six topics will be gradually unveiled throughout the anniversary year, raising anticipation for future announcements.

Coinciding with this announcement, new artist photos taken by photographer Taichi Nishimaki have been released.

The vibrant visuals feature the members surrounded by colorful flowers, capturing their strong presence and impactful expressions as they celebrate their 10th anniversary.

HITORIE’s Comment

This year marks the 10th anniversary of our band, HITORIE, since our major debut. It’s been a decade of believing in the talent and music of wowaka, enduring the pain of losing him, yet continuing to believe in him and the band he started.

As a testament to this journey, we’ve re-recorded “Senseless Wonder”, our debut song that we’ve performed continuously for the last ten years, with the three of us and released it alongside a newly mixed version from 10 years ago, when we were a four-member band.

We hope you’ll listen to “Senseless Wonder 10 Years Later” with your own emotions, reflecting on this decade.
