It’s been a year since the release of her first album “Approach to Anima” from Guruguru Brain / Bayon Production last year. Maya Ongaku’s new album, which will enter a new phase, is a conceptual work with a new sound approach based on rhythm machines and electronic developments. In addition to the lead single “Iyo no Hito,” which has already become a fixture in live performances, the album will include “Anoyo Drive,” which has an uneasy atmosphere with the effective saxophone sound riding on a minimal beat, “Love with Phantom,” a strange pop song like a children’s song that you can’t escape from in your head, and the magnificent and spiritual 15-minute “Meiso Ongaku,” which has been frequently performed in live performances.
