It has been announced that The Omedetaz will release their new single “Takarabune feat. Friends” on Monday, July 29th, which is “Shichifukujin Day.”
This song was performed as a surprise encore at Friends’ anniversary event “Friends’ Friends Gathering! – The 10th year starts with a Shibuya Collaboration Festival -” held in June this year at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE in Shibuya, Tokyo. The song was created based on the motif of the Seven Lucky Gods, the gods who control seven fortunes, and the treasure ship that the gods ride on. It is a happy, lucky, and groovy song in which The Omedetaz and Friends members travel around the world singing in the auspicious vehicle “Takarabune” and deliver good fortune to people around the world.
