LEX released his new album “Logic 2” today, Wednesday, July 31st.
This year, LEX has been highly praised for his ability and talent, having been the headliner of the hip-hop festival “POP YOURS” and a judge on the ABEMA audition program “Rap Star”. While he has been at the forefront of the scene since his debut, he has suffered from mental health problems due to anxiety and pressure, but the release of his collaboration song with his younger sister LANA, “Akarui Heya”, has received a great response and he has made a comeback with a spectacular performance at “POP YOURS”.
Logic 2, LEX’s sixth studio album, is said to be a ray of light that he saw after battling anxiety and conflict. Like the album Logic released in 2021, it incorporates various genres of music and sublimates them into the genre of LEX. The album opens with “Give Me Power” featuring ¥ellow Bucks, and includes dance music “XOXO”, the Jersey club-style “Tension wo Get Up”, the 80’s-style “I’m Trying To Know (feat. Grace Aimi)”, as well as “222” and “Control”, for a total of 15 songs with a wide musical variety. The last song on the album is the aforementioned “Akari Heya”.
In addition, on Apple Music, all songs on the album can be enjoyed in spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, and the masterpiece “LiFE” released in 2020 also supports spatial audio. Not only the new album but also past masterpieces can be immersed in the world of LEX with richer, three-dimensional sound.
