NIKO NIKO TAN TAN to perform theme song for movie "This video cannot be played THE MOVIE"

It has been announced that NIKO NIKO TAN TAN will be performing the theme song for the movie “This Video Cannot Be Played THE MOVIE.”

“This video cannot be played THE MOVIE” is a film version of the late-night experimental program “This video cannot be played,” which combines fake documentary horror and mystery solving, with the first season airing in 2022 and the second season airing in 2023. The comedy duo Kagaya will star in the film, and Kohei Taniguchi, who also wrote the scripts for “I Love You!” and “Buzzy Noise,” will continue to be in charge of direction and scriptwriting.

The theme song is the title track “Shinkigeki” from NIKO NIKO TAN TAN’s major 1st album “Shinkigeki” to be released on Wednesday, August 7th. The trailer using the song will be premiered on Wednesday, August 7th at 25:00 on TV Kanagawa in the 4th episode of the drama “This video cannot be played”.

NIKO NIKO TAN TAN will hold a solo tour “NIKO NIKO TAN TAN ONE-MAN TOUR 2024 “Shinkigeki”” at six locations nationwide from October. Tickets are currently on sale in advance on the official website.
