Paul Murphy, UNKNOWN ME, Calm and others to appear in final episode of “Sunset The Marina”

Sunset The MARINA, a chill-out sunset party that has long been popular with music lovers and families with the concept of a “peaceful holiday,” will be on hiatus from this event, and the finale event will be held on Saturday, September 7th at MARINA & GRILL (inside Tokyo Yumenoshima Marina).

The guest for the final episode will be Mudd aka Paul Murphy, a true Balearic spirit evangelist and owner of the label Claremont 56. Paul Murphy has been captivating fans at festivals such as Glastonbury and The Garden Festival in the UK, and we are excited to see what kind of soundscape he will bring to the Tokyo sunset.

Furthermore, Yakenohara and P-RUFF from UNKNOWN ME, an ambient unit with the concept of “building the mental landscape of someone who is no one”, will perform a special Balearic live set. The unit uses their imagination to freely travel between time and place to create various emotions and scenes. Of course, look out for the sunset performance by Calm, the music navigator of “Sunset The MARINA”. It looks like they will create a day that will be the culmination of the “peaceful holiday patterns” they have accumulated over the past 10 years.

The unique feature of this event is that it is not a DJ performance, but rather an experience of a music journey in which the selector spins each song with his free sensibility and inspiration. Music has a beginning and an end, and it is filled with the feelings of the musicians. By not connecting the songs, the charm and feelings of each song are expressed to the fullest, which is the particularity of “Sunset The MARINA”.

The space will be designed by MIRROR BOWLER, a group of creators active around the world. AKARiYA’s candle art will also be colorful, reminiscent of the past, and will propel the chill-out music stage forward.

It’s in a great location, just 30 minutes by train from downtown Tokyo, and is equipped with a kids’ area so that families with children can feel safe. Why not enjoy a relaxing and free day off at the ultimate chill-out sunset party, where you can experience the dramatic natural phenomenon of the setting sun, which repeats every day?
