It has been announced that Sogabe Keiichi will release his new single “Annabel” on Wednesday, August 7th.
This is the second single of 2024, following the collaboration song “Breath” with beatmaker Junes K released last month, and is a ballad number that sings about the noble end that comes at the end of a life. It is a song that lyrically depicts the sad but beautiful end that someone, somewhere, must have faced today. The single will also include an instrumental version.

It’s a rainy July in Tokyo. As I’m walking and counting the hydrangeas, I notice that some white ones are blooming.
White hydrangeas are beautiful, I thought to myself, and I was told that the flower was called Annabelle and was a little different from the ordinary hydrangeas in Japan.
I thought it was a good name, and when I was playing the guitar, I came up with this song. It’s a song for people who get lost alone in the middle of the night.
