Ibuki Takai to hold nationwide tour to release new EP "Voice of Venus" at 12 locations

It has been announced that SSW/pianist Ibuki Takai will be holding a release tour for his new EP, “Voice of Venus.”

The third EP “Voice of Venus”, released today, Wednesday August 7th, is a conceptual ambient pop album of six songs that combines rich acoustic recordings of cello, double bass, vibraphone, and other instruments with electronic sounds.

The tour with this work will be held at 12 locations nationwide from September this year. Some performances are scheduled to feature guests, including Uki at the Okayama performance, Ayaka Tatami (Homecomings) at the Hiroshima performance, Luca Delphi at the Osaka performance, and Ui iwasaki at the Nagano performance. The guest for the Kobe performance will be announced at a later date.

The tour’s final Tokyo performance will be held at the Yukuido Studio in Ueno with the kinsei ensemble, consisting of Sora Sato (Vc.), Keitaro Kanamine (Cb.), and Taikimen (Per. / Vib.), who are also recording members of the new EP “Voice of Venus.”
