The music label W Record (pronounced Double Record) has been launched by WHATAWON (hereafter referred to as Watawan), a stay-type entertainment mall in Kishiwada, Osaka. It has been decided that the collaborative song “WHATAWON (What a wonderful world)” by Shing02 and Kan Sano will be released on Wednesday, August 14th.
Shing02 and Kan Sano also appeared at Watawan’s grand opening event. This song was created as an original song for the facility, and features the two of them rapping and singing on a truck towed by gentle piano tones. The music video released prior to the release was also shot in the facility.
Furthermore, W Record is based on the concept of fusing different music genres, and will welcome artists with a wide range of musical styles to provide new musical experiences for both artists and listeners. We look forward to seeing how the project develops in the future.
In addition, to commemorate the launch of the label,〈ANTIQUA〉A logo T-shirt will be released from. The popular Basque T-shirt is made of high-quality 100% cotton fabric with an outstanding texture. The logo design was done by Singo02. Check it out.
