Live footage of DJ KANJI & THE UNCLE’s “Mercedes (feat. Starceed & Yo-Sea)” from DJ KANJI’s first solo concert “THE VOICE Tour Final,” held at Shibuya O-EAST in Tokyo in July, has been released.
This song features Starceed, a rising star singer-songwriter from Osaka Prefecture who has a unique worldview and cultivated her singing skills from gospel music in her childhood, and Yo-Sea, an Okinawan singer who caused a big stir with her first album “Sea of Love” released last year. The lyrics are filled with metaphors that draw on various real-life experiences.
