The audiot909-sponsored event “Hyper Nation” will be held at R Lounge in Shibuya, Tokyo on Friday, August 30th.
This party, which crosses amapiano with alternative dance music, is brought to you by audiot909, Japan’s top expert who has been pursuing amapiano in Japan. This is the third in the series and will feature Malaysian DJ/producer BAD MOB, who crosses over future beats, Afro, amapiano, baile funk, dancehall, and more. The highlight of the event will be a three-hour set by TYO GQOM, a crew that specializes in African music and gqom, born in Durban, South Africa.
In addition, there will be performances by interesting beat/electronic music artists such as High Klassified, Marco Weibel, and Benedek, as well as Stupid Kozo, co-host of the DJ mix show “Abysmal Lounge,” which invites guests from Japan and abroad to release over 160 mixes. It’s set to be an abrasive party that will satisfy both core African music and alternative dance music fans.
