Mahitu the People’s 5th solo project “Distant Thunder” will be held with Ikuko Harada as guest

GEZAN frontman Mahitu the People’s solo project “Distant Thunder Vol.5” will be held on June 20th (Thursday) at WWW in Shibuya, Tokyo.

This event, titled “Enrai”, is Mahito’s first solo series project and is scheduled to be held 13 times in total on WWW. So far, Yuko Ikema, Mami Kakudo, Seiichi Yamamoto, and Ozora Kimijima have made guest appearances.

Ikuko Harada was announced as the fifth guest. In addition to his activities with the band Crambon, Tanigawa released his first solo album in 15 years, “Ima,” in which he produced and recorded almost all of the songs at home, based on home recording, which he started in earnest after the coronavirus last year. Released “Imakoko”, a co-composition with Shuntaro. She also participated in the soundtrack of Mahitu the People’s directorial debut, the movie “i ai”, which has been released in theaters since March this year.

There is also a session scheduled for this day only. It looks like it will be a night of intimate and free sounds and poetry, tracing the musical paths the two have exchanged in various ways.

The flyer was once again illustrated by GEZAN member Eagle Taka and designed by Ishihara Roscal. Official first-come, first-served tickets will start at 18:00 today on e+.
