hamma & DJ juju release Russian hard bass song “SPINY KING CLUB” with “crab” theme

The collaborative single “SPINY KING CLUB” by rapper hamma and DJ/producer DJ juju was released today, May 1st (Wednesday).

Hamma released their 2nd album “STRUGGLE” last year, and in February of this year, they released a remix of their signature song “Uidoori”. DJ juju is also known for producing rappers such as Ryuk. This is the second collaboration between the two, following “BARRACUDA” released in 2021.

This work is finished in a high-tempo Russian hard bass, and hamma created this song after being inspired by deep sea creatures – “crabs.” It was co-produced with DJ juju as a sequel to the previous work.

“Spiny king crab”, which is also used in the title, is a type of red king crab called Ezoibara crab, which is characterized by its spiny shell. While playing with words such as hamma’s hometown of Kanie-cho, Aichi Prefecture, and “CLUB/CRAB,” the work is memorable for its prickly lyrics and tracks. Kaito Suzuki is in charge of the artwork, and the composition is a companion to the previous work “BARRACUDA”.
