YAMORI teams up with TAAR to release new song “Matenrou”

It has been announced that YAMORI will release his new single “Matenrou” on Wednesday, September 4th.

As a beatboxer, YAMORI has demonstrated his solid skills and talents, such as winning second place in the TAG category at the human beatboxing world competition “Grand Beatbox Battle 2023” with Jairo, which he formed with his ally John-T, and is also releasing works at a high pace as an SSW. In addition, his solo live “YAMORI SONIC 2” at Daikanyama UNiT in Tokyo and Shinsaibashi CONPASS in Osaka was a huge success, and a new solo live will be held at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE in Shibuya, Tokyo on Monday, September 9th.

This song was produced in collaboration with DJ/producer TAAR. It is a fresh sound that combines TAAR’s ambient house-style track with YAMORI’s beatboxing. The lyrics express the process of breaking free from the constraints of human relationships, including romantic relationships, using the word “skyscraper” to refer to the building, and the song is said to be enjoyable while imagining a landscape that is gradually clearing up.
