COMPUMA announces the release of their first new album in about two years, “horizons”

It has been announced that COMPUMA will release their new album “horizons” on Friday, September 20th.

COMPUMA continues to work in a variety of ways, including as a DJ, music selector, record buyer, Smurf Otokogumi, its predecessor Asteroid Desert Songs, a duo with Takehisa Ken (KIRIHITO), and DJ Posse Akuma no Numa. This new album, his first in about two years since his solo work “A View” released in 2022, was inspired by the scenery and environment of his roots, the shores of Lake Etsu in Kumamoto, and various places around the country. The album contains seven songs created with co-producer hacchi (Urban Volcano Sounds / David Soul).

The mastering was done by Nakamura Soichiro, and the jacket CD (digipak + 4-page booklet) was designed by Suzuki Sei, who is well known for his artwork for COMPUMA’s works, and it will be released under his own label, Something About.
