The EP “NICETY” by MuKuRo, LazyWii, and Kojoe was released today, Monday, August 26th. The music video for the track “HBYS (Prod by NARISK)” was also released.
J.Studio has been the base/recording studio for Kojoe’s label J.Studio, supporting MONJU at the Tokyo branch and Tha Jointz at the Osaka branch, as well as releasing music for BUPPON from Yamaguchi and beatmaker BLOOKY JEEKY from Fukui. This is the latest release from J.Studio 098 in Okinawa, which has been in the works for a while as a new base.
From J.Studio 098, MuKuRo, who has collaborated with him many times in the past, LazyWii, a rapper who is active in the crew Make Sum based in Chatan, Okinawa and attracts attention for his bilingual style, DJs NAPPY BWOY, POM, The Priceless and Kojoe, who travel all over the country as DJs, as well as JASS (Tha Jointz) and BUPPON. The producers are BudaMunk, NARISK, Chouji, FReECOol, 1Co.INR and BLOOKY JEEKY.
The album includes eight songs born from Okinawa, including the lead single “Nicety” produced by BudaMunk and released last December, “Koo Nel Yal Suu” with its impressive dope and groovy synth bass, “DON’T YOU KNOW” featuring JASS from Tha Jointz, and “HOME”, an emotional song dedicated to each of their hometowns and families, featuring BUPPON. The music video for “HBYS”, directed by video director macoty, was also released on the same day.
To celebrate the release, a release event will be held at clubasia in Shibuya, Tokyo on Saturday, August 31. A lineup of talented artists from around the country who are involved with J.Studio, including MONJU, ZIN, Tha Jointz, MFS, BUPPON, Gradis Nice, BOHEMIA LYNCH, BudaMunk, and rkemishi, will be gathering.
