Immersive music event "by this river" to be held for the first time, featuring Jan and Naomi, Takuma Matsunaga and others

The immersive music event “by this river” will be held on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th at the outdoor field “DAICHI silent river” in Fujino, Kanagawa Prefecture.

The theme of this performance is “A night by the river with music and the beauty of nature.” Daichi Silent River is a hidden place that can be reached in an hour from Tokyo, and is a vast outdoor field that has been preserved as much as possible in its natural state, including a quiet emerald green forest. On the day, you can enjoy the changing landscape created by nature, such as trees swaying in the wind, the murmuring of the river, the sounds of wild animals and insects, and the glow of celestial bodies, while sitting around a bonfire.

And to further expand this special environment, musicians from Japan and abroad who have been facing silence and texture will be invited. From abroad, GUZZ (China), Mikael Lind (Iceland), QOA (Argentina), and from Japan, jan and naomi, Komatsu Kazumichi, Miru Shinoda, Rinna Shimizu, Seiichiro Ito, Tenniscoats, Horiike Yumea, and Matsunaga Takuma will appear. All performances will be live, and each piece will weave a story based on the late night hours when the venue is at its quietest.

In addition, a luxurious sauna room resembling a teahouse will be open on the day, offering a special sauna experience with nature and music. Furthermore, the venue will be harmonizing with nature through the production of the space created by Jiro Endo, who has worked across the board in the production of various festivals both in Japan and overseas, including architecture, art, production, and lighting, and the production by Ahare Space Project, which knows the situation, characteristics, and context of the land and place and creates unique scents.

Four stores, including the popular Ebisu store “Shigekoku,” which operates as a bakery in the morning and afternoon and a restaurant in the evening, and “Onigiri-ya Dogu,” which serves rice balls and miso soup, will offer original menus using local Fujino ingredients. They will provide an experience of tasting the bounty of the land firsthand. In addition, grooming tool brand AUGER has been selected as the main sponsor to support this performance and the development of the scene.
