Chanmina releases music video for her latest single “NG” filmed in Korea

The music video for Chanmina’s latest single “NG,” which was released on Friday, August 9th, has been released.

Chanmina recently performed on the Marine Stage for the first time at “SUMMER SONIC 2024,” and X also became a trending topic in Japan. This song expresses her rebellious spirit against the world telling her “NO” about her appearance and voice, and is the theme song for the girl group audition project “No No Girls,” for which she is the producer for the first time.

At the same time as the MV was released, Chanmina’s official YouTube channel was hijacked to “NG” mode, with multiple MV and live footage thumbnails marked with a red X. Some fans started to mark their own SNS icons with a similar red X, which led to a derivative trend.

The music video was shot in Korea with the performers and staff from Japan. The director is Kim Yeon Jo, who has also worked on videos for TWICE and ITZY, and this is their first collaboration.
