Fuma no KTR × WAZGOGG releases pre-release single "F**in' Ghoul" featuring Okami from their new EP

Fuma no KTR and WAZGOGG’s new single “F**in’ Ghoul feat. Okami” will be released on Wednesday, August 28th.

Fuma no KTR is a rapper born in 2000 who is hugely popular in the MC battle scene. He also wrote, composed and produced the ending theme for the TV anime “Pokémon,” and made waves with the hit song “How Many Boogie,” which he co-wrote with his friends SKRYU and WAZGOGG.

This is the first single from the new EP “ARMOR BREAK” to be released on Friday, September 6th, produced with the aforementioned beatmaker WAZGOGG. The song was born after the two rappers, who were matched up at the large-scale MC battle event “Kaisen MC battle” held at Tokyo Garden Theater last year, exchanged passionate thoughts on stage and got along well. In the domestic hip-hop scene where various styles are involved these days, the song is about “eating” other rappers with skill and physical strength. Also, pay attention to the track, which is based on bass music, but also features ethnic drums and WAZGOGG’s unique crazy sound.

The song I did with Ogami-kun this time was something I first met at Kaisen MCbattle, and right after the battle he approached me about making it. We decided we should both be involved in each other’s works, and that’s when the production began.

While we were talking through rap on stage, what really made an impression on me was when Ogami-kun said in his MC on stage after the battle, “Rappers don’t need words like ‘music people’ or ‘battle people'”. This word brought many thoughts to my brain, and among them, I thought, “There really is no difference when it comes to eating MCs”, and this song was created! When I heard the word “eat”, I thought of the anime “Tokyo Ghoul”, so I made that the main theme, and we finished the lyrics while also adding elements of other anime that we both like, and we freely ate it up with a beat that we’d never tried before, so please give it a listen!
