luvis releases new song "Higher" today with his own comment

luvis released his new single “Higher” today, Wednesday, August 28th.

Luvis, a singer-songwriter from Kyoto, is still fresh in our memory after appearing on the American public broadcasting station NPR’s program “World Cafe.” This song was the last one he performed on the program. The intro has a hint of the lineage of UK and US alternative music, and the fast-paced hook develops into a pop melody.

The song was also selected as the cover of Spotify’s official playlist “Edge!”, which focuses on the Japanese indie scene.

I believe that when people go through blue emotions such as sadness and pain, they end up with flowers in their hearts.

This work was created with the hope that through these flowers of the heart, people will be able to increase their self-love and love themselves as they are.

I titled the song Higher because I hope that the flower in my heart will bloom in a very high place (dimension) that no one can pick.
